What is SCAUG?

What is SCAUG?

Is it an organization that hosts conferences?
Is it an organization that hosts User Group Meetings?
Is it an organization that hosts training?
It definitely is all that but it is a lot more than that if you show us what you need...

It is an organization created out of necessity. The need for there to be a cohesive group of GIS professionals in the region. That necessity was noticed 22+ years ago & is more applicable today than it was in its inception. As time & technology change who is better suited to steer the direction of SCAUG than the members? SCAUG can & does bring training, presentations, technical sessions, & resources to areas across our region. But... only if we know what you need. If we can see the need then we can work towards filling it.  We are currently hosting several ArcGIS Basics I & II classes in Oklahoma which are always full. SCAUG is having Sub-chapters hosted events around the region. OKSCAUG is hosting its 15th annual conference this year. With all this growth we need your input.

We hope to see you at an event in the future or better yet hear a suggestion for another resource we can provide across the region.

15th Annual OKSCAUG Conference Registration Now Open!

The OKSCAUG chapter of SCAUG has been alive and growing for over 15 years. Take this opportunity to help us build OUR 15th conference together. This year the focus is on GIS in Public Safety.  We are in the process of  acquiring presentations, calling for posters, and determining which ESRI technical sessions will be offered based on the user input we receive. Here is your chance to custom build your conference to suit your needs. We will try and accommodate as many as possible so don't hesitate to ask for conference content. Please take a moment to look at the training & workshops that we are offering as well. We try our best to bring relevant economically feasible training to our local users so take advantage of this offer.
